Why can't we have a race where we just race? Seems Nascar has to screw up things again by sticking their noses where they don't belong. Am I the only one who thinks that Helton, France , and a few of the others running the big show need to check themselves, even possibly remove themselves from the judgements calls. Maybe get some non biased individuals in there making the rules and "enforcing " them! Maybe it is just me , but i think Nascar deserves better and so do the loyal fans.
 
I think Nascar needs to quit playin favorites, and if Jr fans bitch about this; than they need to start READING, because even the drivers are sick of it!!!

So, either Earnhardt Jr. should have been penalized in almost every other restrictor-plate race he has run or won, or NASCAR blew it by singling Leffler out Friday night for preventing Earnhardt Jr. from winning the race.

I wonder which scenario is more likely.

I think everyone already knows the correct answer.
 
I'M soo sick of Nascar's little favorite. I'm not one bit surprised that Leffler gets punished and the only reason is cause he blocked Jr. I thought that was called racing, but I guess I'm wrong. Sorry guys but like I said earlies I'm sick of the whole the thing. :angry:
 
Yeh i'm sick of it too, i'm not going to watch the race tonight either. I'm heading off to the local saturday night track with my wife and watch some real racing!
 
Its funny they penalize for touching an Earnhardt but do nothing about the Waltrip situation....
 
I've screamed for years that any Earnhardt could get anything they wanted from NASCAR. The dirty names I have been called for saying that would fill this forum to capacity.

Nice to see I've been right for the past quarter century.

It's really sad what has happened in the last month or so, how all the "judgement" calls ( i use that term loosely) have come back to haunt Nascar. It seems to me this is just snowballing out of control, maybe i am over reacting, maybe the sport i love so much isn't completely becoming a sham. I don't really know, but i do know that we as fans, the ones that pay the bills , the ones that fill the stands every week, the ones who buy all those souveniers , and buy the products that sponsor our favorite drivers' cars are becoming disillusioned with "our" sport. Or is it really a sport anymore, maybe it is becoming just like WWF ?? I sure hope not , i do know this though, our voice needs to be heard. Nascar needs to feel and hear the backlash from the fans, because if we put up with this disgrace that has become todays' Nascar it will only get worse. I'm not sure how we as fans can get that message to the Chiefs in charge, but that message needs to be heard! :angry: :angry:

Try an email campaign. And a letter writing campaign. Organize a non-violent demonstration at NASCAR Headquarters. Boycott the races, don't buy any NASCAR sanctioned items, write your Congressman. There are any number of ways to get their attention. You might even try a class action lawsuit. The way y'all are screaming, it's bone fide felony what NASCAR is doing. Maybe NASCAR should be striped of their sanction-ship because of incompetence..........let's put the whole organization out of business and start over in an "approved" manner. Yeah, that's the ticket.........let's have a racing series that panders to the fans whelm and the fan's personal view of the happenings on the track. Oops, wait a minute........isn't that pretty much what they are doing? Only it's those "other fans" that NASCAR is pandering too. My bad. :blink:

Racing is Racing, So what if Leffler got got into Mikey and Jr, I would've probaly done the same thing on the last lap, So whats there to Read??????

wow...the busch series is alledgedly a place to learn how to race better. there are so many people doing stupid things in the busch series on a near regualr basis, yet leffler gets a one second penalty for something that arguably wasn't even a stupid move...how many other drivers have received a 1 second penalty for causing an accident?

nascare's favoritism just keeps getting more and more blatant.

...that's why i'm not even sure about spending money on anything that might help line the france family's pockets...i haven't even been to a nascare sanctioned track in well over 2 years, thanks to orange show becoming an asa member track.

How about we just GIVE DEjr the Nextel Cup EVERY year and the rest just race for the hell of it. It's not like their lives are as important as Mr Pefect...who apparently has found a cure for cancer and keeps children from going hungry!!

Go Kenseth, maybe you can get another rule change. Maybe one that says you're only allowed to put five noses up Jr's a$$ at one time.

Damn, I must be on the wrong board. Or, are other people finally seeing what I've seen since Dale died. NASCAR is trying to appease the Lil'E fans in the stands and at home because that is where the money is. The sport be damned...
 
Jason did NOTHING that many "others" before him have done.
Only difference is, Jason has the wrong last name. (in this circumstance.)

Hang on, Jr. We're trying to hurry with the cheese.
