Corporations buying into NASCAR teams?

Do you think this is a smart move or bad move. I don't think it's good for the teams, if the corps are going to start over riding what the teams normally do. Could cause a lot of friction in the team.
 
I think it depends on how it is done. I can see the influx of money being a competitive advantage, at least until NASCAR finally outlaws any competitive advantages completely. :rolleyes: But I can see getting too much input from people who don't know the sport as pretty stupid also.
 
The problem is if they come in with all the financial support, they will soon want input since half or most of it is theirs. I'm sure most of these don't have the first clue about operating a race team.
 
i think its a bad thing for the sport....it just shows how much money it cost to run these teams...increased cost is not good for the sport or the fans.
