The Dallas Cowboys traded head case WR Antonio Bryant to the Cleveland Browns today for WR Quincy Morgan.
Bryant is very talented, but has had several run-ins with coach Bill Parcells and just plain hasn't been happy with his role in the Cowboys scheme.
Morgan is a stiff who couldn't catch a cold but doesn't understand why the QB doesn't throw it to him much. Let me ask you a question. If you were a quarterback running for his life and you make a great throw to a guy and he just plain drops the pass, would you be anxious to throw him the ball the next time you need a first down? How about if he drops at least one very catchable ball for every one he manages to catch? The guy is an overrated stiff who will never amount to anything in the NFL.
I was happy when I saw a blurb on ESPN saying the Browns had traded Morgan before I even had a clue who they got for him. Getting a guy who can really play is a bonus. Even if he never gets his head on straight, at least he is better than Morgan...a head case who can't catch the ball
