Cowboys no longer Americas team

Bandwagon jumpers. I'd be willing to say there are more die hard Steelers fans than Packers fans. Lets see what these numbers look like when the Packers aren't the best team in the league.

True, but I think it swelled when they won the Super Bowl. I can't tell you how many people I saw, after they won the Super Bowl, at college with Packers jerseys on and everything because they were "Tried and true" Packers fans that just busted out (purchased) the never worn (brand new) jerseys before.

I know they have a strong following and I'm not trying to undermine it at all, my sister is a Packers fan and has always been one (you know that from reading my facebook). I just hate bandwagon football fans. Five years ago, everyone was a Patriots fan.

I remember being in high school when the Patriots won one of their super bowls and suddenly everyone was a fan. My team sucks and always has but I'm not gonna pretend to be a fan of another just to fit in.
 
I know there have always been a lot of Packers fans and that many of them are pretty hard core about it. I watch That 70's Show enough to know that. The guy renewed his vows in a hideous green and yellow tux for goodness sake.

I'm not a fan of bandwagon fans myself, but there have been teams over the years that have won me over. I wasn't a Colts fan until Peyton Manning went there and I just really liked the guy. I wasn't a Rangers fan until Josh Hamilton went there and I like just about everything about the guy.

Steelers fans have to be the worst of any bandwagon groups out there though. I live in Cleveland Browns country and Steelers fans here are obnoxious as hell for the most part. I just can't take them.

Ok, let me add that while I really like and root for teams like the Colts and Rangers, I would still much rather my hometown teams won. I don't change my favorite team, I just like others as well.
