Hello dudes.

Can anyone hook me up letting me know what´s been of this former Craftsman Series (and Busch) driver?

I used to love the paint scheme of his truck back in 2002 and liked a lot his racing style.

Thx

Coy Gibbs, son of Joe Gibbs ?

Try googling his name. Looks like he even does Twitter.

Is this the one you like ?

I just did it; seems as he´s now in motocross... It seems as he didn´t last too long in nascar, he retired after the 2003 season...only after 3 seasons...

Hey, I didn´t know Joe Gibbs also has a NHRA team...

Not sure if Coy, or just really likes the son of Joe...

Coy has bounced around on his daddy's coattails. While JD jumped right into running the race team, Coy has tried his hands at a lot of different things. When his racing career fizzled out Joe went back to coaching. I read that one of the reasons was so he could get Coy into something he was good at. So Coy then tried coaching for a bit. I guess that didn't last long did it.

Had an NHRA team. He canned it in 2000 due to lack of sponsorship, if I recall correctly.
I think you are correct, Kevin. I think he had the McDonalds, Interstate Batteries top fuel dragster and funny car teams from around 94 or 95 until 2000. I know that the team that i worked on in 98 and 99 bought his hospitality rig and we used it for a few years... which is the one that Cruz Pedregon racing uses now on the Nhra circut. I remember hanging out a lot at the Gibbs race shop when it was on the north side of the 465 in Indy during the 98 and 99 season. What a big difference between the drag racing shop he had then and the Nascar shop he has now in North Carolina.:)
