Matt Crafton will not return to the Dick Thorson's No. 88 Chevrolets in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series next season, team officials confirmed Tuesday.
Crafton will not be without a job long, however.

The 27-year-old native of Tulare, Calif., will take the reigns of Winston Cup driver Kevin Harvick's full-time Truck series entry next season, sources said.

Seems like a nice story, I just got one question....

Oh Ok... guy seems like a good driver from what the article reads, but doesnt seem like he has a handle on the mug.

This is a good move by Harvick. I've been impressed by Matt, who's done pretty well this season despite the fact Menard has never fielded a very good truck team. I wonder if RC had any imput on this move? If Crafton's successful maybe he'd get a BGN ride with RCR.

I think RC did voice his opinion on this. Harvick said that he would field a driver who could run a Childress busch or cup car in the future. Also, Harvick said that he would like to own a busch team and eventually a cup team.
