Wondering if it would be possible to put a short 4 to 5 foot wall curved inward( like the left side parentheses) with barrels in front of it at the end of the pit road wall so the end is not able to be hit head on. That has always scared the heck out of me- head on into the end of a wall is not good no matter how many barrels of sand are in front of it.

Then someone would hit the curved end.

I saw Bobby Labonte hit it when they used water barrels. Water must have gone 70 feet up.
 
If it's curved toward to finish line they couldn't hit the end though unless going backwards. I know- anything can happen. We've all seen areas get hit and cars going places we thought were impossible(infield, parking lot) but I always cringe when I see the end of a pit wall in a relatively easy spot to hit.
 
Pretty funny, Joe Shear Majeski's crew chief said when interviewed. He's been complaining, he's on top of the board and he still is complaining lol.
He knows there’s more there and he wants it. Needs it.
