Crash at the Pacific War museum

Fredricksburg is about an hour by road from my home. I saw and heard this Mustang flying this afternoon. Very sad to hear about this crash.

Not many two seat versions of the P-51 were produce. A number of single seaters were modified into two seaters. I wonder if this was a pay for a ride flight? In any case it was a rare bird. .
