14 - Elliott Sadler

It's a sad irony that the driver who has had the hardest crash of the year, Elliott Sadler at Pocono in July, is also the driver who has been involved in the most incidents

After getting involved in a four-car crash in turn 2 late in the race two weeks ago at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Sadler chalked up incident number 14 for the year.

That put him in the lead, ahead of Sam Hornish Jr. and Joey Logano, who each have been involved in 13 spins or crashes that prompted yellow flags.

They don't keep up with near as much as MLB does. They'll send the media some stat about a hitter batting percentage with runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs and when the temperature is over 80 degrees. :sarcasm:

The sad part of this is... that the guys who race up near the front are more likely to be ahead of a wreck. The guys in the poorly funded teams ,who are racing in the back half of the field ...are more likely to be swept up in someone elses mess. So being high on the list may not reflect on your ability.

I don't know Sam can try but Elliott has been wrecking for years more then Sam

So whats Jr's excuse? He's been nowheres near the front all year? And only 2 wrecks.

Not neccasarily- the field doesn't stay frozen at front runners/mid packers/tail enders for the entire race.

Where's Dave Blaney & Joe Nemecheck? Oh, that's right, they were in the garage watching it all happen.......
