Crazy Paint Schemes

Just thought I'd create a thread devoted to posting NASCAR paint schemes throughout the years that are beautiful, ugly, or otherwise memorable. I'll start off with these three schemes:

I remember watching Bristol last year and seeing this scheme. It looked so cool under the lights, and it also is um...a interesting sponsor. It also fit right in with many of the other unusual schemes being run that race, such as JJ's Dover White Lowe's scheme, my favorite of his classic Chevy paint schemes he ran last year, and BraKes's vintage Miller scheme.

This scheme falls in the same category as Jeff Gordon's -- a special scheme that looks amazing under the lights. As well as a interesting sponsor...just because Prilosec was displayed on a NASCAR in the form of a amazing scheme, doesn't mean I saw leave my trusty TUMS behind. But whatever.

This scheme however...I think it speaks for itself. The story behind it is that some joke evolved into a actual design a scheme contest, and this winner was this eyesore. Though to be fair, it has intended as a joke.

Bright blue and maroon make for an odd color combination. It would've looked better if it were all blue.

True, but like I said before it looked amazing under the lights. What looks good under the lights is sometimes different than what looks good in light.
