Why do they have the series going from Daytona, to the southwest, back to Tennessee, back to the west coast, then back to Virginia?
Not to mention the weather is probably gonna s*ck for Bristol on the 20th of March.

There aren't many places to choose from that time of the year that point to favorable weather.

The March Bristol followed by Martinsville the next weekend have always been iffy weather dates. Snow is not all that uncommon that time of the year in Bristol. Does anyone remember the snowball fight during a break in the Nationwide race a few years back? How about Busch's snow angel celebration after the race? One of the lamest celebrations ever.

It's all to obvious that it would make too much sense to do a west coast tour, with Phoenix, snooz button, and Vegas.
Regardless of weather, thats just a ton of unneccesary back and forth crap.
And to boot, theres already a down week in there.

I think they would still have to go back to the shop anyways

"not much difference" could mean "alot" to a race car, just like 1/4 pound of air pressute means alot to a race car

Yeah, I know, but it was just a couple years ago, guys were bragging about bringing their "Bristol" car to Daytona, guess alot changes quick.

It shouldn't. The templates are the same for all tracks.

They should have scheduled California for the week after the break, then go to Bristol and to Martinsville. The way it is now is just stupid.

We have been getting more snow than usual this winter. We got another dusting last night.

Maybe you'll get it out of the way before race week although it really doesn't matter to me too much, Bristol is always a good time. Last year I had to take a day off work to dig my 5er out of the snow to get down there.
