Addington is probably the only CC who can say that he has had "the pleasure" of working with both Busch Brothers...
Who would wanna work with Kurt?
Who would want to work with Addington? Good riddance.
IMO, you're both right. Kurt is a great driver, but he's too much of a jackass to his CC and team. Even his owner has gotten bit.
Steve has proven that isn't a top shelf CC during the chase. He never stepped it up with Kyle, and now he hardly ever makes the car better for Kurt. Meanwhile, Kurt see's what Paul Wolfe is doing and probably dreams about getting him as his CC.
If this is true, I have to wonder who Kurt has his eye on this time. A bunch of CC's will be available, but I can't think of anyone better than Addington being on the market. Perhaps Kurt will continue the 'get Kyle's CC' routine and grab Jason Ratcliff, who earned a shot at Cup a long time ago.

I've already gathered that you're a Kurt Busch fan, because you defend him and blame everyone else for his shortcomings.
I think Kyle would have been better off if Addington was still his CC.
I don't know if a Brad/Paul Wolfe envy is existent. But I could see Kurt being that vain or shallow, he obviously doesn't comprehend the needed chemistry between two individuals.
Kurt is a great driver, he has always impressed me as an A1 wheelman. But only a fictional author could offer Nascar a bigger narcissistic jerk.
. At the other end, Brads car USUALLY gets better as the race goes on.
Wow Andy, do you ever read before you reply? It's as if you jumped off the john while reading Mad magazine and picked a random reply to respond to. How on Earth did you come up with that?
In one chase, Kyle was knocked out of one race by a loose bolt on a hine joint and a second race by a wrapper left on an air filter. Sloppy, sloppy CC and car chief, but it all comes back to the CC. Last year, Kurt ran real well....until the chase started. Then his cars were crap. Time and again, Kurt has a fast car to start the race and he begs Steve to keep up with the track. Steve RARELY does.
If Steve was on the ball, he wouldn't need Kurt to explain that rubber on the track kills their speed week after week, which is what Kurt had to do WHILE driving the car at Dover.
I think that a lot of that is that Brad will adjust to the car, whereas Kurt doesn't.
Agreed. It's good to see Kyle really putting in the effort to change. I'm kind of tired of disliking such a talented driver. Kurt has said more than once that Paul helps Steve with adjustments, and they have switched over to the #2's setup more than once. At the other end, Brads car USUALLY gets better as the race goes on.
Kurt and Brads driving styles couldn't be more different, but Pauls setup for Brad works better for Kurt than Steves does? Kurt does indeed give feedback. Listen to him on race buddy and you'll see. It's when Steve loses pace that Kurt gets upset and acts like an ass. Before anyone gets confused again, I'm not justifying his attitude. I'm just stating the facts.
I have heard him give good feedback too, but all the haters want to pick the times where Kurt is an ass..which we know he's not the only one.
UPDATE: Steve Addington, the crew chief for 2004 Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch, denied published reports that he plans to leave Penske Racing after this season. Addington said before Friday's first practice at Charlotte Motor Speedway the reports didn't have "a leg to stand on'' and that it was written off "pure rumors and speculation.'' Asked if he would be at Penske Racing in 2012 Addington told ESPN.com: "That's the game plan.'' Team owner Roger Penske, in Las Vegas for the IndyCar Series finale, told ESPN.com's Terry Blount that Addington has not talked to him about leaving. "He has done a fantastic job for us and I hope to keep him here long term,'' Penske told Blount. "I don't know how this stuff gets started. But it's unfortunate because it's a big distraction to the team in the middle of the Chase."
After reading several of these post I can't hardly help thinking that the vast majority of posters have never worked in a male dominated profession or pro sports. Don't be so thin skinned people.
You are asking for lot here. After reading several of these post I can't hardly help thinking that the vast majority of posters have never worked in a male dominated profession or pro sports. Don't be so thin skinned people.
I did. Worked in the pits at the dirt track, years ago---after they finally decided that women could come in. Heard a lot --- in one ear, and out the other.

I do wish Kurt would treat his people with more respect. His temper has been out of control the past few months.
I guess no one reads my posts. *sigh*
