I know it's been a couple days, but does anyone know what happened to Ryan Preece? He was on a good strategy but finished 35th.

Jeff Glucks Twitter has some of it. You have to scroll down a ways. Looks like bad strategy from what little I can read. Burned up his sets of tires early maybe?

That’s what a news article I read said as well. Gibbs was on fire for like 30 laps and he ended up surviving. RFK needs to ask JGR where they get their brakes from.

I actually have nothing against RFK. It was more of a joke, how even on fire, those JGR brakes still remain intact.

I think it was a gerbil mis-call. Probably built up tire rubber. Brakes usually don't get better.

I don’t know anything about the cars, but I’m guessing you are right. Even everyone on here was telling him to get that car into the pits asap as it’s not gonna get better.

Yeah, Gibbs finished a lap down. If he had lost his brakes I don't think he could have pulled it off. I think rubber build up and the heat from his brakes started the fire.
