Waxing a bit nostalgic for Texas. I was an original PSL holder from the first, for 10 years until hubby's knees couldn't take the climb anymore. My name is even chiseled into the marble wall at the entrance to the Speedway Club building in Turn 1. Whoop-dee-do. ROTFL
Beautiful day for a race. :)

Why don't they just race COTA and the oval back to back instead of traveling back and forth 2 weeks later? Would also mean getting this horrific track checked off the schedule sooner.

NASCAR RaceDay is on FS1, followed by 3:43p ET Cup green flag on FS1, stages 80-85-102, 9 sets tires, fuel run 62-67 To the rear: Grala (steering rack change), Busch (backup), Johnson (repairs)

Honestly the first two races of the weekend have been great. I think the track might be worn in enough to be pretty good now.

I'll be watching to see how quickly Chase Elliott races his way from his 24th starting spot. And how long Chase Briscoe can keep it in the top 5.

Former drivers just can’t come in and race this car anymore. It’s so different to anything else. Jimmie would be better off in Xfinity.

This is also why I believe having SVG learn bad habits on ovals in the Xfinity car was a bad idea.

No, he needs every lap he can get

Dang, Timmy Hill running 16th 75 laps into this race is impressive. Granted, he has like 15 lap fresher tires than those behind him.

Meanwhile AD drops like a rock and Busch goes a lap down. But KB nearly said he’d do as much yesterday after practice. Why?
