For those of you folks here that attend Truck/Busch/Cup races, I am just curious as to the cost of tickets at different tracks.

This curiosity was brought on by fergy wanting/needing to sell his tickets to Daytona. At $200 per person for two races, Busch and Cup, I was wondering about other tracks.

I personally have two Season Ticket seats at Texas Motorspeedway. I was able to lock in last years rate if I purchased (paid in full) the 2004 season. At a cost of $290 per seat, I receive 2 Truck races, 2 IRL races, 1 Busch and 1 Cup race. The seats are in the Lower Level Grandstands (Row 24) at the Start/Finish line.

I guess I am just curious.

We had tickets at Tallagega for 10 years (the same seats), the first time I bought them they were 80.00/per ticket on Sunday and 20.00/per ticket on Saturday. The last year we bought those tickets (2002) the same seats were 115.00/ticket on Sunday and 45.00/per ticket on Saturday. The last 4 or 5 years they went up 5.00/per year and made no improvements in that tower. Kinda highway robbery I thought. I have been to several other tracks but I usually didn't have to buy those tickets so I can't tell you about the pricing anywhere else.

My tix are as follows BMS 4 for bush 4 for cup spring and fall in the pearson section $1150.00 or $71.88 per seat
BMS 2 bush 2 cup Dale Earnhardt terrace spring and fall$780.00 97.50 per seat.
and you have to buy the all or lose them, and by the way due in full in October 2003 for the 2004 season.
Daga $115.00 each
richmond 2 for spring cup and bush $420.00

and that's all folks

I think one of the things involved here is you can get "cheaps" seats and not so cheap seats.

I just hit the Daytona International Speedway site and you can get 2 tickets for the Busch and Cup races for as cheap as $300 or you can pay as much as $490.

Las Vegas, you can do both races as cheap as $186 for 2 tickets or as much as $666.

My Vegas tickets were $116 (1 ticket). Front strech between turn 4 and the entrance to pit road, btu pretty low down.

Then I guess my ticket cost really isn't overpriced for the number of races that I get to attend. From my seat location, you can see the entire track with the exception of the inside lower portion of the backstretch (which noone on the frontstretch, no matter your seat location can see). Oh and I certainly agree, TonyB. The cheap seats @ TMS are rows 1 thru 11 and backstretch.

I pay 500 for 4 seats @ Lowes
I pay Nothing for Dover Races
I pay 250 for Richmond

I was at Talladaga last April. The Tickets cost me 110.00 each, Going to Bristol in March. Tickets cost 88.00 each.

I was at Darlington for the southern 500 and had tickets for both race's Busch/Winston ( Pearson Tower row 21 sec H ) for a total of 140.00
Not bad!

My Kulwicki Terrace season tix's for Bristol are $370 apiece & that includes both cup & busch races only. I think they break it out to be $121 for the cup races & $64 for the Busch races.

At Michigan I pay $85 & $99 per for my cup tickets in the center grandstand along the front stretch. The lower seats & the corners are a bit cheaper there, except for the turn 3 grandstands. I pay $45 for the Busch race at MIS & I believe that's the same price for all the tickets for that race.

At Milwaukee, this year it's costing me $69 for the Busch race & $39 for the truck race. The most expensive seats for the race are $79 for Busch & $49 for the trucks.

I think last year my season tix's at Chicagoland were $205 & we were mid section towards the turn. I think last year's highest ticket, (except for the ones you have to buy a 30 year lease for), were $245? That included a Busch race, Cup race, ARCA race & an IRL race. We decided three years at that place was enough, so we didn't renew.

My parents ended up getting four day tickets to the Daytona 500 in 2001. They sat in the Petty Tower & I thought my dad said the the face value for Thursday through Sunday was $600 per. They bought them through someone that couldn't make it & I think my dad said Daytona required those ppl to buy all four races for those upper towers. I think the price broke down to $225 for the 500, $145 for the Busch race, $125 for the 125's & $105 for the truck race??? I was down there too & I paid $85 for the Bud Shootout the weekend before for the Petty Tower & I think it was $85 for the Seagrave Tower (which is in the lower sections) for the 125's.

I believe I paid $105 for Atlanta in 2001. We were along the frontstrecth in the top row. I think we paid $110 for Talladega in 2002. We were in the second row of an upper section towards the turn 4 side. At New Hampshire in July of 2001, I think I paid $75. We were in row 8 between turns 3 & 4. And I paid $85 per for the Winston in 2002. We were really high up on the frontstretch towards turn 1, which would have been nice, but it was only like 45 degrees that night...so we frooze our butts off.

They lowered the price of the frontstretch tickets at Talladega this year from about $85 to $70. :D

Well at Kansas Motor Speedway, I get the package with IRL, Trucks, Busch, and Cup, and I believe that one Cup ticket is like $120, from around where I sit usually...

I think I sat in Anniston my first race there in 98. I sit in the middle of the tri oval toward turn one now, same price, better view. B)
