My dad who goes by sst55 here had a stroke Monday morning. He thinks he'll be discharged later today, more than likely he'll be in until at least Friday. He just wanted me to log in and print the posts so he can read them tonight and to explain his absence.

Over at OTC, we instituted a 'buddy list' where a personal contact number was added to your private info, visible only to admins, as a way to try and keep contact with 'drop outs'. Lacking that here, I'd suggest that members let someone in real life know about their life here and how to let at least someone here know if something happens to them. After all, you never know when your next post might be your last ... and wouldn't you just hate it if the guy you're argueing with thought he'd gotten the last word on you?
