Dale Jarrett will start 37th. That is where he is in points since they lined the field up by points.

He actually is 40th in points. The past champions provisional as the result of a rain delay does not count towards the six a driver gets each year. A similar occurrence happened when a previous qualifying session got rained out earlier this year.
