I like this idea. He's absolutely right too.
 
I agree with him and needing to get rid of the splitters
 
Dale Jr was the one driver who really could have stood up and spoken out about new era Nascar without repercussions and he never really did. My vote goes to Tony Stewart. ;)
 
I am surprised more people that depend on Nascar to make a living don't speak out.It is almost like people on the Titanic after hitting the iceberg saying everything is fine,we have fresh ice..I felt sorry for anyone that paid more than a dollar to watch that snooze fest last night.I am sure TV ratings and attendance will be off the chart next weekend.
 
Lower them more. I want to see the pitcrew's toes get chopped off on pit road when the cars fall off the jack.
 
About the only thing junior and Gordon paved the way for is a preset salary similar to boxing, where the promoter takes 100% of all the pay per view buys and ticket sales, then pays his boxer in the form of a high interest advanced. This season is all about getting the last nickel out of Hendricks and not getting sued.
 
I think Nascar needs a new President and CEO, for sure. However, I'm OK with there being consequences when you go off the track. Not death, not debilitating injuries, but damage to your car seems appropriate to me. And Nascar has done a great job with driver safety. So I'm OK with serious splitter damage as a consequence of running off the road. It helps make Nascar a meritocracy, and that is important. My $0.02.
