Dale Jr. Cleared to Race at Martinsville

I heard his Steve Letarte on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio this morning. They were leaving this morning to go do the track testing portion of his reinstatement. He said there should be some kind of decision announced tomorrow afternoon.

When Rick Hendrick clarified on ESPN, the NASCAR PR people at Martinsville informed us. They also said they couldn't communicate with the announcer's booth at the speedway :lol2:.

If Junyer's cleared on Tuesday, Martinsville ticket sales will go up.

Actually, he still has to get in a car on Monday and do well. Then take another ImPact test in Dr. Petty's office and do well before he's cleared.

Junior passed with flying colors.

I would love to see Regan Smith stay in the #88 for the rest of the season. I am sure he would have been a top-5 contender @ charlotte if hendrick didn't chose to end run early with a faulty motor.

Are you saying Rick Hendrick put an engine in the 88 and planned on it blowing up early?

I'll be in the infield with a hot dog in one hand, camera in the other and a smile on my face because I'm at the only race in the Chase.
Right on. So, will the winner of this only chase race be your champion for the year as well ;)

I need to start reading Jayski more often dang it. When did NASCAR shorten the chase to one race? Does this make Kansas the race to the chase? Will I get my money back for Homestead?
