Too bad about Kurt Busch. Possibly two blown engines in one day, he's going to the back of the field. Benny suggested he may be at the back of the field next week too, for the second blown engine. Is there any truth to that?

But it's looking good for Junior tomorrow. He said they were running a pretty radical setup for him, but wouldn't go into details.

And to think he wasn't even looking forward to Chicagoland. :D

abooja, I just caught the end of Happy Hour--- I don't know if Junior and the team were happy, but I was!

He started 36th last year and finished 11th --- so maybe this year will be better. :)

I didn't hear that comment by Benny. I can't understand why Kurt would have to go to the back next week, too. That wouldn't make any sense. Isn't 2 blown engines in one day, bad enough?

I think Benny was trying to make a funny...and failed. Kurt is going to have a hard time concentrating tomorrow, I bet.

Yah, they said Mark Martin should probably be the most concerned right now, of course.

TRL, Junior actually WAS happy, for a change. Hope he doesn't get taken out early and ruin another afternoon for me!

I was doing housework all morning and missed parts of Happy Hour. Did I hear something about Jimmy Johnson wrecking during the first practice and going to a backup?

You're probably right on, Paul.

This starts the last half of the season --- it's a pretty good start with decent q'ing. I hope the ball will keep on rolling.

HH, Jimmie crashed in practice yesterday. Used his backup car for q'fying, which I'm sure is why he ended up taking a provisional.

Good to see JR. doing well. I also hope harvick can do well even with starting a ways back.
If busch can keep his temper and mouth under control he should be alright.:beerchug:
