Dale Jr. Wins 2008 Sprint Cup!

You heard it here first. Dale Jr is going to win the 2008 Sprint Cup. I know I am aiming high, but what the heck right?????

Honestly, Junior going to Hendrick Motorsports kind of scares me because I will not have any excuses as to why Junior does not kick azz next year. He will have all of the best stuff.

Here is another prediction - Joey Logano and Bryan Clauson will win a Nationwide Series event in 2008.

Any other bold predictions? Will be fun to come back and see who was right, and who was WAY off base. LOL
 
Jr. is overrated. He has only won a few races that were not on plate tracks. If he actually does make the chase in 08 then he certainly wont win the cup. This is the decade of Johnson.
 
next year will suck because i read sprint cup in your post and little cars with big wings sprang up in my head!!


lets see how long before they call cup cars sprint cars knowing espn they are already probably doing it lol

Yeah, I've been thinking that exact thing since they announced the Sprint Cup thing. I wonder who the first moron will be that calls the "sprint cars."
 
Jr will be in the top 5 next year, bank on it. :D

Three drivers in the 2007 Chase that will drop out in 2008 are: Kyle Bush, Martin Truex, and (sadly) Jeff Burton. Those on the bubble will be Bowyer, Harvick, and Hamlin.

Ahhh, the decade of Johnson. Well mine was a few years ago but I still remember those hot steamy nights. :eek:
 
Gordon will finally win the championship, hendrick will have first, third, and fourth in points, with a DEI car in the middle, Gibbs will be a backmarker group, Stewart will jump ship with 10 races to go and take zippy with him, a waltrip car will win a race, though off a strategy call, mikey will make an announcement that he will retire after 09, Jarret will retire to the CTS in the UPS truck, the margin of Victory in the daytona 500 will be greater than 15 seconds, and TV ratings will drop another 15% by the Pepsi, now coke, 400.

I agree Jr is overrated but its not the decade of Johnson, at least I hope not.

I hate seeing Kyle Bush in a Toyota, because that is the reason that he'll be out of the chase, same with Tony. I don't expect to see JR run any better or any worse next year, he ran fine this year, just couldn't keep a MoMo together. I think the 2 and 12 will be stout this coming year, Kurt and Ryan were blazen toward the end of the season and Kurt wasn't bad in the COT either. My prdiction for the winner of the Sprint Cup, JJ, unless somebody else gets the stuff together. Duane

I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson won another one.

On the bubble: Kenseth, Stewart, Hamlin, Shrub, Skurt
 
what the heck I'll bite......heres my predictions....

Johnson joins Yarborough as only three in a row champ.

Jr wins three races, makes chase.... finishes 5th.

Toyota spends millions more, still doesn't win.

By mid season rumor mill will swirl around Kurt Bush.... and where he will end up .... again.

Wing will be replaced by spoiler near end of year. for safety reasons.

Hendrick-17 wins, Rousch- 9 wins, DEI-3wins, Penske- 2 wins, Gibbs- 2 wins, Evernham 2wins, one or two others win one......

I think Gibbs is going to be ahead of the game. Maybe not in 08 but Give Toyota a few seasons, they will be the ones to beat. Mark my words
