Dale races the truck

Been seeing that commercial the last couple weeks, think it's pretty cool. I thought it was a good advertising scheme the whole time (I remember one of the early ones with Jacki Stewart), and I think their wrapping it up really well.
 
I have to miss the bristol race, now that i remember it's dale's last, i wish I didn't. I liked the campaign too, i will miss it.

It's a shame because they have the race truck on display there at the display and vendor area.

It was a bit last minute but they decided to have it out there for Dale's last race.
 
awesome commercial gonna miss seeing him race.

I was hoping once they would have the ups craftsman truck out there. Maybe they did and I missed it. They could of done some cool stuff with it though.
 
Dale will run the all star race at LMS this May.

The official "retirement" paint scheme was unveiled at LMS today at a press conference.

There will be some sort of contest where the winner will get to ride with Dale in the UPS race truck around LMS prior to the all-star race.

We had the truck and the official car at the track today for the press conference.

Hard to think that Dale is now retiring. It seems as though it was only yesterday that many of us were debating whether it was a bit early for him to make the jump to Cup from Busch. As a matter of point, I was one of those who didn't think that DJ would do much in the Cup series. Since that time, I've been very happy to see him enjoy as much success that he has. Will be sorry to see him not in that UPS car.
