There are football games and there are football games, but in DC, this is the lion of football games (because the Redskins will never go to the Super Bowl as long as Snyder owns the team).

First out, Campbell throws an interception leading to a Cowboys touchdown. 7-0. Cowboys look good, Redskins look bad early. Shaun Suisham, who played for Washington a few weeks ago, is playing against Washington tonight.

Fortunately I had dvr'd the Browns game earlier so I could take a nap with the wife. We watched a christmas movie when we got up and then my son and I watched the Browns beat up on the Raiders. I have no delusions of the Browns suddenly becoming a very good team, but it has been really good to see them running the ball well and their defense finally stopping people. They've now beaten the Steelers, Chiefs and Raiders back-to-back-to-back. They've really screwed themselves out of the top pick in the draft, but after the number 1 pick there isn't a whole lot of advantage in having a top 5 or 10 pick. You end up paying a rookie a whole lot of money and you have no idea how their game will translate to the NFL.
