does anyone know any good meds for a bad back. i have back problems and it hurts all the time. anyone know of any good drugs for it. ( drugs that wont get me in troble with the law)

Hey, Lap3: Doan's is supposed to be good for backs.
But I think your back problems may be psychosomatic, to some degree. Lots of people with back problems tend to have anxiety or stress that presents itself as back problems. You should check out this book, Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection, by John E. Sarno:

I've never actually read it, but he believes that the large majority of back pain sufferers have their pain go away once they identify and solve the underlying problem. I know Howard Stern swears by him.

Get a chiropractor (how ever you spell it). It has helped me. My spine isn't straight so it is pushing my ribs against my lungs. Sometimes when it is bad, I literally have to gasp for air. It is really scary.
i have 2 back problems....cant spell them for anything....but aboo you r right also.

Advil........that's about all I take when my back acts up. There are back excerises you can do that help too. Do a search on the internet for back exercises.......I had a few sites in my favorites but I forgot to save them when I did my last format of this hard drive about a month ago.
depends when and where the back hurts. I am on disability for upper back problems but the Chiropractis medicine along with kinisthetics, herbs, Icy Hot where it hurts, and learning how to get rid of stress help a lot. HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS back pain

may I say it again, CHIROPRACTER(sp) you are far too young to have this problem without injury or somethig you were born with.
Maybe a visit to the ER will help diagnose the problem, but please don't self medicate except for otc meds.
