I won't go into the gory details about the cataract surgery -- because there are none. LOL All you see is bright lights.

I'm just amazed at the difference, though. Aside from the blurry vision being gone, colors are just so vibrant. I didn't realize how yellowish-grey everything had become.

The only trouble I had was one the way home yesterday afternoon. The bright sun really gave me a double-decker headache in spite of the dark glasses.

The doc checked the vision in the eye this AM --- a smidge better than 20/20. I haven't had that good since I was 10.

Looks like I may have the other done later this year, or next.

I just can't believe the improvement.

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad things are brighter and clearer!

I have cataracs too TRL, but can't afford the surgery. I have NO health insurance (bummer).
I will find a way, though!
Congrats and good to "see" you're doing well  :beerbang: <-----sweet tea

Glad to hear that the surgery went well for you TRL.

glad to hear that all went well . And it is wonderful that you can see things in a whole new light.

GREAT GREAT NEWS TRL...........REAL HAPPY IT WENT WELL...... :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang:

It's a pretty good day after all!

Despite some bad storms here in New England, when I checked the forum this evening, I find that TRL's surgery was successful and KAT is back with us again!

Great news from both of you girls. (I was gonna say kiddies, but there's folks here who take offense at that term.)

Welcome back!!
