Danica Patrick's Press Conference

Danica will be testing this weekend in an ARCA car as was stated in an earlier press conference.

She plans to qualify for the February 6th race at Daytona in the ARCA series for the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200.

She also plans to race at the following confirmed races in the Nationwide Series..

February 20 - California Speedway
February 27 - Las Vegas

She plans on running a 13 race schedule in the Nationwide Series.
 
BTW, RacingForTheWin.com will have "On Location" coverage of Danica's NASCAR debut at Southern California.

Hopefully, the 2010 races will be as good as the thrilling Copart 300 NNS race was.

That's if she makes the races. We'll see...
 
i don't see her having a problem making races as long as she has good cars and crew. she's a good driver. it's the in-race action and handling of unfamiliar cars in traffic that she has to get use to. i'm hoping she does well.

You never know, Steve Kinser came in and couldn't get it qualified, nothing's a given.
 
It's true nothing is a given, but the short time I was able to listen to her while she was practicing on Sat. gave me a different impression of her. She was asking and giving good feedback and had a really good sense of humor. Now I know that doesn't make you a great driver, but from what I could hear, she was really working on getting the feel of the car. I've sort of not been to crazy about the idea of her coming over, but I wish we could have watched as well as listened yesterday since I really enjoyed the conversation and would have loved to have seen the video.

I can't believe I spent the entire day Saturday looking at a scoring monitor and listening to a scanner feed.

No, I just cant fathom why anyone would find her attractive. I mean, at all. She is not feminine in any way. She has manly facial features, especially in the cheekbones and jaw. If she wasnt a race car driver, no one would give her a 2nd look.

Andy, its no use. Spike has shown us all what he thinks of Danica and he isn't going to change. I suspect the guy is blind, but who cares what he thinks anyway. There are more of us who do think she is attractive than those who don't.
 
I nearly vomited when I saw that picture. And as for "more people think shes attractive that dont"...that isnt true. I think you will most guys dont find her attractive. Alot of it has to do with her unfeminine body and her face that looks like a mans.

Danica is a nice looking gal, but I think the fact that men google over her because 1) She is in a male dominated sport and b) She markets her sexuality which is geared to men.

Danica would not get the same response if she looked like Ellen :bleh::bleh::bleh:and had the same sexual persuasion.
 
or looked like sarah fisher, who looks fine to me but doesn't have the *sex appeal* danica does. on a level playing field sarah may very well be just as talented of a driver as danica. maybe even better. we will never know.
 
Hey, not everybody finds the same things sexy. I personally have never liked the "full figured" or "hourglass figured" women. Something about wide hips just doesn't do it for me and a big chest on a larger woman just looks like extra fat to me. Marilyn Monroe, Raquel Welch, and the like are attractive in their own way, and I get why some guys think they are gorgeous, but they just don't turn my crank.

I'll take an Eliza Dushku or even a Teri Hatcher any day.

I am more of a Laura Vandervoort, Ashley Tisdale, Elisha Cuthbert, Hayden Panettiere, Pixie Lott, Sasha Grey, etc type of guy.
