Notice I spelled the regular U.S. word "favorite" with a "u" ...that's because (as of the last time I checked) Danica is the betting favourite in the U.K. where betting on sporting events is legal. :).

Now granted this is for the Saturday race and bettors over there understand she has top equipment and knows the Brickyard...but still that is pretty impressive for Danica.

I really think she has the best shot in this race. "Horses for Courses" is what I always say.

GO DANICA !!!!! (since Tony isn't racing that day)

That is a bad bet. I would bet Sadler or Hornish before Danica. They have more experience than her at Indy and have better equipment.
 
I don't know, Montoya finished second in his first stock car stint at IMS. And Danica's in much better equipment than Montoya was.

Hornish is a safe bet for the win -- but we'll see. He's pissed off a lot of people over the season (Danica included) and there's no better way to retaliate than to take someone out of their best shot of a win.

A Chevy has won the last nine races at the brickyard. Bill Elliott is the only driver to win with a Dodge in 18 races at Speedway. :)
 
I'd take Johali in his RV over Danica.:D I think Kurt will have a good chance in the 1 and Sadler and Dillon will be pretty good. Wish it was at the short track though:(
 
Now we know what the real motivation was for moving the race to the boring track... to get an overload of Cup drivers in the race.

I hope to be at a real race tomorrow night.
 
This is awesome for Danica. I hope she beats the pants off those guys. :)
 
If Danica won tomorrow all hell would break out in the world of racing and the media. Can you imagine the Danica mania!?
 
I think that a top ten finish would be excellent for her . She is going to need to post some top fives before she can hope to get a win.IMO
 
If she gets out front in clean air she will lap the field...they wont throw a BS caution flag if she is wining (nor should they).
