Danica staying in Indy Car

Danica Patrick is now, officially, staying in the IndyCar Series. Patrick signed a three-year contract to remain with Andretti Green Racing during last weekend's event at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. She will continue to drive the #7 car with a Motorola-based sponsorship.

Was it just a long list of contract negotiation ploys yet again? Who the heck knows?

Didn't she say a couple weeks ago that she was staying with IRL, but would run Nationwide races on off-weeks?

No, you are not missing anything. This is the latest news I heard also.

There are only 17 IndyCar races. Plenty of time for her to race in select ARCA, Cup-Lite and Truck races.
