Roush Fenway Racing announced that they have released Danny O’Quinn from his contract. O’Quinn, the 2006 NASCAR Busch Series Rookie of the Year, is free to seek other driving opportunities elsewhere. “I want to thank Jack Roush, and everyone at Roush Fenway Racing for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to show what I could do in 2006,” said O’Quinn. “I wish we could have put a program together this past year, but I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue my career. I hope to find a full-time ride in the Craftsman Truck or Nationwide Series in 2008.”(DannyOQuinn.com)
 
Man ive been a fan of Danny O’Quinn since he was racing the hooters pro cup series. I thought it was awesome when he showed up on roush's show and showed that he could drive. Always ticked me off that they said he would be hard to market cause of his 'bubba' look. Far as im concerned i think now he can go find a better ride someplace.
 
better ride? All roush cars and trucks are competitive in nationwide and CTS

I agree. It would of been nice if Jack would of released him sooner. He possibly could of gotten a more reliable ride.
 
I doubt that the release of Danny O’Quinn by Roush had anything to do with his looks. A Joey Logano.........Danny O’Quinn .....is not.
 
id argue that one with ya but i like logano too lol
