Don't waste your time or money. Big disappointment. The trailer contains all of the best moments of the entire movie.

I heard just the opposite as well. (Note, never listen to anyone on whether or not a movie is good or bad....)

I don't spend money at the theater but once or twice a year. Netflix like always. Looks like you'd pretty much have to be a Tim Burton fan to enjoy it anyway.
Tim has some strange flix. We saw previews for one called Frankenweenie. It's a cartoon but looks better than Dark Shadows. The reason I was disappointed is because I am a Johnny Depp fan and I feel this fell short of his abilities especially after his Jack Sparrow performances.
