Darlington going retro for Southern 500

In conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the track, the walls have been painted the retro red and white stripes for the Southern 500.

In related news: Several Darlington track employees were at The Rock for the Carolina 200. They told me Darlington doesn't want the Labor Day date because it's too hot that weekend.

That makes sense. It is also the last weekend of Summer, and people head for the beaches.
