I like what Fox Sports 1 is trying to do but I also like other sports. I like Fox Sports Live but most people hate it.
MAVTV and NBCSN have some real opportunities here to fill a void and attract a niche. MAVTV doing live coverage of the Chili Bowl and a couple of other races is a good start but they've got to get in more homes. NBCSN's got real opportunity with NASCAR, F1 and having rights to all the NASCAR regional tour races from 2015 on out. IndyCar's a lost cause... I love the racing but the only race people care about is the 500 and IndyCar and NBCSN will never grow an audience for the series if the 500 is on another network.

Only negative thing I'll say about FS1 is that I really do not like basketball and they have entirely too much of it.

I agree...i tried to order Mavtv so i could record the Chili Bowl, but time warner cable doesn't carry it in my area. So, i guess when i get home from the Supercross race Sat night i won't have a Chili Bowl race to watch,
but, i will have a bowl of chili to eat.

The Weather Channel is almost always at tape anyways. I loved the PR blitz they did about it's a matter of life and death and stuff like that. I can get the weather on my iPhone, iPad, computer, Kindle, local news and so on. If there's a major weather event, MSNBC will cover it. IDGAF.
