July 13th 1993 was a very sad day.

Losing Davey certainly was a big loss not only to his family, but to the entire NASCAR family. One thing I always think of when I see or hear of Davey is a commercial he did and in it, he was seen walking towards the camera with rain coming down and saying "Rain, rain, rain. Please go away".
Of course, we'll never know what could have been with him and for those who say he'd have won a title or two I ask, what would you have said of Mark Martin if he had parished after 1993? No doubt that Davey would have had a terrific carreer, possibly even multiple titles. But he was sure fun to watch, especially against his father.
