Ya know I think Ricky Hendrick was smart to retire. He was holding that team down so much. Green is doing so well right now.

Interesting that you would mention the Ricky Hendrick decision.

As I considered some of the stories circulating about Casey, Ricky came into my mind.

There is a world of difference in the two's circumstances outside the racing world, Ricky need not worry about financial security for a long time.

Still, he displayed a great deal of maturity and judgement in coming to realization that he just wasn't getting the job done. Then acting on that realization.

I don't mean anything bad against Hendrick. I met him at a CTS race at Mesa Marin. I really didn't care for him to much before I talked with him. He is so laid back. I really hate to see him out of a racecar but he was right when he said he was holding the team back. I am happy to see David in the car. He has been doing very well.

Some people just don't have what it takes......dispite who their father is in racing. I'm afraid Kerry Earnhardt should take note!:(

I think sometimes people with famous racing backgrounds just race to continue the legacy. Even if they don't perform good, they do it because of the name...:(

Green is auditioning for a ride so he knows he has to run well. We'll see how he does on raceday, he's been giving that car a good run.

Hey now, David Green won a championship in Bobby Labonte's Busch car. He's a proven talent. Let him have the ride for next year and let's have a great Busch season!

Especially w/ Harold Holly out of the ppc team..

It shows when a good driver gets in good equipment.
