David Ragan

I didn't want to hijack the Trevor Bayne thread with Ragan talk so I thought I'd start a seperate one.

So, is it time for Ragan to put up or pack it up?

He's got 147 races behind him and has made over 16 million dollars for Rousch and it's not like the rest of the Rousch camp has been burning up tracks lately - but, Rousch has been more than patient with him, IMO.

Don't get me wrong - I like Ragan and think the young man handles himself very well but this is the big time.

I believe this is his final year of his contract so his cup career may be in do or die mode and we'll find out in the next couple of months what to expect. I had high hopes for him his rookie season and then he just did nothing, I almost want to compare him to Hornish Jr, have a great race then hit everything in sight the next 3 or 4.

I think that mistake that lost him the Daytona 500 was huge for him. Had he of won Roush would or anyother team would want a former Daytona 500 winner around.

Ragan better win a race or be close to winning races this year or Bayne will be in the #6 next year.
