I had the pleasure of working with David the previous two years.

David is for real. He is a genuine good guy and down to earth.

I am hoping to see him get his first win this year.

I agree. HE was very approachable, i ran up to him while he was talking to somebody else, walked with him till their convo was over, and he was more than happy to talk. Like the article says- I think he's glad to not have the pressure. All he has to do is take off the firesuit, and he's another Joe.
 
I think he's a good driver and seems super nice. But he's one of these drivers that will win a race or two at best.
