Ok David has officially named me his P.R. person ...lol...I'm giddy with excitement can't you tell!!! This weekend David is up for a whole weekend of racing. First this Friday he's off to Thundervalley to try and win the $3000.00 for 1st place! Then on Saturday he's going to Gaffney for the Stick Elliott $5000.00 to win! Any fans who can make it, please come out and cheer him on. As always David wants to thank everyone of his fans for your continued support, you are what makes it all worthwhile!!! we'll see him Saturday.........weather permitting! Good luck "SUPERDAVE"! Be careful out there..........They really haul the mail up there. Something like 120-130mph down the straights. Have fun........buckle up tight!
 
Just to recap....the race Friday night at Thunder Valley was rained out. Saturday at Cherokee David's car was skipping and they tried to fix it but it still wouldn't run right. He started 20th and worked up to 15th before having to pull out. Better luck next time David...we still love ya!!! That is some more track up there though. It was my 1st time at Cherokee and i love it. It's a half mile track and wide. We parked in the pitts right in the middle of turns 1 and 2 and could see the whole track. It was one heck of a race though...2 bad wrecks...first Jack Pennington in the 01 car flipped end over end, tore the car up. Then Mike Duvall in the Flinstone Flyer did the exact same thing in the same spot going into turn 3. Both walked away ok though thank goodness.
 
hey ladygator..........I didn't get in the pits ,but I did wave at David from the stands after the driver's meeting. Cherokee is a great track and WICKED, BAD fast. David will adjust if he runs there again. Its a big transition from Laurens to Gaffney but if anyone can do it David can. I(we) had a blast. Great race and got to see and visit with all my buddies from up that way. We love to go up there every chance we get. Good racing and people!(FASTEST 1/2 mile dirttrack in the SOUTHEAST!)
