#22 and #23 Team Owner Bill Davis, although he's officially off the Dodge deal, is expected to keep running Dodges the rest of this season because of his huge inventory of parts and pieces. But next season, he might well be back with General Motors, possibly with Pontiac.

Pontiac is more likely, they need a flagship team right now and they do not have one. Also, Wimmer performed very well in Pontiacs last year in the Busch Series.

That move really wouldn't surprise me. The only success ward and the rest of BDR has had since joining dodge has been at Daytona.

I hope they move back to Pontaic and make Pontaic a 7 car team! Even if BDR will switch to Toyota when ever they come in , it would be great to have 2 more of the coolest looking cars on the track! Pontiacs just look mean and fast!

I don't think GM woudl give BDR any factory support but they might. I think Pontaic is happy with PPI and MBV/2 as there flagship teams, more so with PPI sadly

Nahh.Bet your Greg Biffle bumper stickers that Davis is going to Ford.It makes much more sense for everyone involved.Ford needs the team and Davis needs to win again.Something that is more likely with Ford than with Pontiac at the moment.

When the story first broke out about Dodge deserting them, I thought they would be back in Pontiacs. Considering Ward finished in the top ten in points his last two years in Pontiacs it's a no-brainer.

They should go to Pontiac, and stick with that group...atleast until Toyota makes its way to the "Nextel Cup Series"

I forgot about New hampshire, but didn't he win the southern 500 the year before they went to dodge?

Being in a Ford don't always make you a winner. Look at Rudd, DJ, and a few more. But he could go to a Ford. We will find out in Nov. :D

I think SWimmer misses Booty Barker...they still are running the Pontiacs on the #23 Busch team.

My bad, they're in a Monte Carlo this year.

No, he won the Southern 500 in 2001. He did win the Darlington spring race the year before they went to Dodge.

I think Ward should keep running the dodge body, but race it with a Toyota logo...

That would be funny!!! Kinda lie have Mitushibish (sp?) on a BGN car like someone has in the past! More than likely it was the motorcyle part that was on the car, but its the same concept.
