When people start watching UFC telecasts and college football telecasts on FOX and FOX Sports 1 and see that almost every commercial break is side-by-side (when there's nothing going on anyways), you're going to start seeing some raging fans.

Honestly, the excess commercials in the Daytona 500 looked to me like they were making up for the commercials they don't air when they air UFC on FX and SPEED.

The easy way to fix this problem is to go to commercials when the race is still under yellow and pit stops are already over with cause nobody really wants to hear DW blabbering away to fill time until the race goes back to green.

That'a about the same as a regular a TV a show a.

It varies, but the show to commercial ratio was higher in the race than for an average TV show. In the race there was 2.15 minutes of broadcast for every 1 minute of commercials; On an average TV show, the average is 2.75 minutes of show for every 1 minute of commercial (It's typically 8 minutes of commercial for a 30 minute time slot).

It's pretty damn close to the records for commercials that TNT set last summer. Don't anybody tell them, they might have to start televising one minute of commercials for every minute of race coverage this year.

Jeez, yer completely happy with everything, ain't ya?

I just don't see the point of becoming upset about it. All I can do is make my opinions known to NASCAR via the fan council and move on with my life. Perhaps the commercials don't bother me because I listen to the scanner and will watch Raceview to replace Hotpass.

its ok,till they come back n your drivers dang car is on the hook.
