I love this...when was the last time the winner of a Cup race received no points? Too bad for Trevor.

Good. My other point still stands then. The new point system leaves no margin for error. It is ok in F1 fields where they feature fields half as big, but there is to precipitous a dropoff from 47/48 to 1.
 
and how about Regan Smith getting his first top ten finish!!!!

How is this any different comparing 190 to 34 on the old system?
