we used to have it as part of our normal and digital packages... now, SPEED is a pay channel.

When I got DirecTV a few years ago it was to be able to get Speed Vision at the time. I've certainly never regretted that move. I get all the channels racing is on and pay less than cable too.

My basic cable provides more than a dozen channels of foreign language blatherings, but no Speedvision.

There is more coverage. Probably because Fox owns Speed Channel and Fox carries this year's race. I was disappointed there was no replay of the Duel races last night.
I checked my diary, last year it was wall-to-wall coverage, also. Many days I wrote down -- "OD on racing today. " LOL
