Yep and you would think that because the cars are quite different now that there wouldn't be as many Cup drivers, but that does not seem to be the case.

That is what I was thinking. I thought they raced both to help with setup on the cup cars.
 
There is a guy, Jack Hege, that lives near buckaroo and I that has been to every Daytona 500 race. This will be his 50th race at Daytona that he has gone to watch. He still lives in the house that belonged to his parents in the 1920's and said that he would not miss going to the 500. He is a retired textile mill worker. I believe there are only a handful of people that can say they have been to every Daytona 500 race. Kudos to him.
