WE recieved a check from the servicing company BoA sold our mortgage too. Insurance and taxes are included in our payment. Both the city and ins agent say we're up to date.
BoA doesn't have any info and to call servicing company. [cue Indian music] "David" finally comes on the phone, he wants our names, birth dates, SS numbers, address of the property and date of and amount of last payment and when it was mailed.
I suggest I give him our account number, the check number, amount and he tell me why I recieved a check.
He doesn't think that'll work....supervisor please. Supervisor speaks with a even more pronouced accent! Please connect me with someone who speaks English, please. Finally get someone I can understand, seems my making 13 payments a year had screwed them up, I had too much in the escrow account. Why didn't you include a letter saying that, or in the comment section of the check?
I've got to get off my azz and re-fi with my CU.

Ask for an American Operator
I haven't tried this myself but it's sure worth a try.

Ask for an American

Try to remember this EVERY TIME you have to talk to a customer service representative and you cannot understand them. I did not know that we could do this, but I sure am going to try it. Help bring jobs back to the U.S.A. Ask for an American!
How many times have you called a company's service phone line and found that the rep. can barely speak English? Once with a major mortgage company it was so bad I demanded to speak with someone who spoke English. Right at that moment I broke the code, the secret password for customer service.

Come to find out that every American company using overseas operators must transfer you to an American rep. by saying....... "I want to speak to a representative in America ".
(Don't take no for an answer on this)

This was confirmed by the American rep. that they must transfer you after that request. I've tried it on a half a dozen major companies including cable, bank, phone and mortgage companies. It works every time and I actually get my issues taken care of.

Another thing to help save even more jobs.... don't use the automated check out lanes they are pushing at the big box stores. Once again, I found out that if we use those check outs rather than cashiers, people lose their jobs too. I've refused to use the automated check outs and have had two cashiers already thank me for help saving their job.

I didn't know we could do this, and will start doing it from now on to keep Americans working.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

I'v done that a few times and it worked except with a couple of international companies that when you insisted would keep transfering you until you were satisfied with one you could understand.

Sorry to hear you have a financial transaction with BoA, I wish you luck and patience.

On a side note everytime I get one of those India accented reps they say I Have Such a Bad Accent they can't undestand ME? Gonna have to try TG's idea.
