Let us take the time today to remember those of the "greatest generation" who gave their lives that morning. Let us also remember those who survived, whose lives were changed forever.
I've had the opportunity to visit the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, it is truly awe inspiring. What it represents is overwhelming.

John Brady was a childhood friend of my FIL and was at Marine at Pearl Harbor, he was also wounded on one of the island invasions and captured briefly. He didn't have any kind words for the Japanese till the day he died 10 years ago. In fact he could turn the air blue when he saw a Honda or Toyota.
My FIL was in the 101st and jumped in on D-day, also in the Battle of the Bulge.
Greatest generation indeed.
