Where has the year gone?

I love this time of year ... hope everyone enjoys this month!
 
I can't believe it's December, already. I think I missed a week(or two) of November. Normally, I dread the coming of winter, but after the summer we had, I take the chill. Hopefully, some cold winter rain will make it here, too.
 
If we make it through December
everythings gonna be alright I know
It's the coldest time of winter
and I shiver when I see the fallen snow
If we make it through December
got plans to be in a warmer town come summer time
Maybe even California
If we make it through December we'll be fine

I love Christmas, but I almost always end up singing the above song from Merle Haggard at some point and feeling the sentiments expressed therein. I have to say that driving through snow and ice sucks worse than those who haven't done it can comprehend.

agreed, TRL. I'd like some of those november weeks back. After this summer, I as still wearing shorts and a Tee last week. My mom finally made me wear pants this week- but I'm still in a Tee without a jacket.
 
the years do go by wayyyy too quick. so much to do, so little time.

When I was a kid Christmas came every 2 years it seamed. My daddy always told me just wait until you get older it will come every 6 months he was right.
