That was a pretty cool interview with DW and Kyle. A little insight into why he's as wild (and successful) on the track.

Unbelieveable. 8 laps and the big one. Two Hendricks cars amongst others. Gordon and Martin. Total carnage after 8 laps. They have to do something about this. This is not racing. This is Demolition Derby. As many as 23 cars?

Take the plates off them. They never really had this problem before plates. So what if they hit 220. Indy and F1 do.

Look at it this way, it gives you plate haters something to write about. Isn't there roller derby or something else that you want to watch?

You hit 220 and someone's gonna hit the catch fence and possibly the spectators. Cars will actually approach 240 in the straightaways without the plate...

Taking off the plates hitting 220+ is not the answer. Just look at the Allison crash at Dega, and you'll remember why plates were implemented.

I would much rather see them lower the horse power and do awaywith the restrictor plates. Cars have no place to go when they are bunched up like that. Nascar has limited the horse power before. They can do it again.

You need to start looking at the upside of things! Now we can get $24 tickets for the Charlotte race... :D

I LOVE plate racing! Ahhhh HE((. I just LOVE racing!

Is this going to be Junior's day? A lot of his competition is gone now.

Don't know about anyone else, but the way they're updating the positions on the top of the screen is annoying.

I was just about to say that the rest of the field wasn't safe yet with him still in the race! :beerbang:

I remember back in the 90's when they use to have a row in the corrner of the screen with the top 10. and then they made a big deal out of it when they added a line after the top 5. So it was easyer to see who was in the top 5/top 10

I agree! They advanced their position and should be penalized...

I hoped to update the #'s before someone quoted me! lol. It was Vickers and Hamlin.

They are not going to black flag em. Been to many laps since then and now. Tony blocked Smith last year and the choice was go low and not wreck or put Tony in the infiled. BUT I guess if you are a somebody you can pass an almost nobody on the bottom and it be ok.

I still think they took the win away from the 01 last year, so Tony could have a win in his last year for the 20. Not taking anything away from the 20, he did what he had to do to win. But NASCAR droped the ball. And they done it again today. Differnt rules for differnt drivers.

If you had seen the drivers meeting today, the officials told the drivers that if they went below the double yellow line and improved their position they would be penalized. That was the same speech they got last year. The 11 and 83 should have gotten wacked today!

They got a warring. and the crew is sucking up to NASCAR saying it was a good call.

Maybe it was but now they set a standard for the race and they should not throw a black flag for anyone passing below the line now.
