DEI and the 3

This is based both on speculation and a little inside info i just got a few minutes ago. Normally i don't jump all over something like this, i don't start rumors just to say i did, but this is pretty cool stuff. Don't be surprised if you see Dale Jr. driving the 3 for RCR in the Daytona 500 next year. It is the 50th running of the historic race, RCR would like nothing more than to bring the 3 back with Jr. behind the wheel. I really think there is much more potential for Jr. to win a championship with RCR than with DEI. I think it would be a perfect fit, also Jr. could concentrate more on his JRMotorsports operation while working for RCR. I see this as an awesome fit, especially with the fact that Teresa wants a board of directors ,so to speak making most if not all the calls at DEI. I for one would love to see it happen, and wished it happend a few years back. Part of me wishes DEI the best , but i just don't think it is Jrs best interest right now, especially if he wants to win championships.
 
I think Jr needs to continue driving the #8 where ever he drives. He needs his own identity not that of his dad.

Yeah, I agree. He is a pretty good driver in his own right and could become much better.
 
Wonder if Richard will give him 51% of the company to drive for him...? ;)
