Don't let the title fool you. This is one of the TV hits of the season in the U.S. and is on the ABC TV Network. It is one of the best programs that I have seen in quite a few years with it's many complicated storylines that are sometimes comedy and always attention getting. How many of you have watched it and what is your opinion.

"A prime time soap with a truly contemporary take on "happily every after," this new hour- long drama takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem. Looking down on her friends and family isn't a way of life for Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong)... it's a way of death. One day, in her perfect house, in the loveliest of suburbs, Mary Alice ended it all. Now she's taking us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors, commenting from her elevated P.O.V."

So tell me then.. How the hell are they going to get away with Murder......????

That show is hilarious. I started watching it because I could watch Teri Hatcher read the newspaper and be perfectly happy doing so. :growl:

But I got kind of sucked in to the story lines. That is a pretty twisted group of people. But they are funny as could be too.

WOP...I have no idea how that will play out. But the witch deserved it ;)

I LOVE THIS SHOW! It has to be one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I was expecting them to kill of Nicolette Sheridan's character, glad they didn't, I like her! She reminds me of someone I know.
What I want to know about last night's show is why Terri Hatcher took the money and gun upstairs, why not just toss it back in the cupboard?

That is a good question Dee. I kind of wish she would have taken him up on his offer to ask him anything. I would have liked to have heard those answers. Instead she just jumped his bones.

What does anyone in here think is Mike's secret?

That was a pretty cool effect when they were showing those two getting all hot and heavy and the nosy neighbor getting strangled at the same time. Kind of two extremes of emotion intertwined.

The numbers are in. Over 27 million people watched the hit show "Desperate Housewifes" Sunday night. Probably to see which one would be killed off. Of all the possibilities, I am glad that it was her instead of one of the others.

Yeah, I can be the pool boy in the neighborhood. That or the gardner. Clean all the leave out of the bushes (if you know what I mean :growl: )

Darn, here I thought some of the ladies hereabouts were starting up a lonely hearts club of sorts and come to find out ya'll just talking about some TV show that I've never seen. Probably never will see. And, generally I'm thankful that I've avoided their commercials after having seen the 1st couple.

This is one of my very favorite shows!
You have good taste kat. Odds are those that "knock" the show haven't seen it. The writing is excellent and the characters are sometimes hilarious and I have yet seen an episode that I didn't enjoy tremendously.

That Gabrielle is amazingly hot. That is one of the harder to believe story lines of the show so far.

Reminds me of a neighborhood where I lived years age, just updated. I was the recluse!

My favorite is the woman that gave up her career to raise those hyperactive kids. I feel sorry for her and if her husband is messing around I will personally cut of his....
And miss perfect has made a mistake big-time with her teen age brat. when I was a kid and did yard work I never had the fortune (misfortune) of the good looking young kid. Miss bazooka (big b****) is fortunate that she mentioned the paper was borrowed. How was all that money earned and why the gun. And these are only a few of the storylines. :)
