I love fruitcake. Especially the one I buy from the Trappist monks in Kentucky. They soak it in good Kentucky bourbon.

Best fruitcake in the world. *hic*
They also make a delicious bourbon fudge that will knock your socks off.

We at the post office used to always toss those cakes around to one another. Someone is always getting one or two from one of their patrons. I've seen them hit the floor and not receive a dent. Now that's got to be hard!:D

I promise you, the one I get is soft and moist. Definitely not doorstop material.

I warm it just a little in the microwave, scoop a spoon of homemade vanilla ice cream on it, and chow down.

I've had some of those "bricks" in the past. You could build a wall with some of them.

Come to think of it, some of those homes might have been built with fruitcakes. :)

If it ain't got no mold, they're edible.......right?:(

DEW, I think there are too many chemicals to allow mold in regular fruitcake.

Pour some rum on it and it may be edible. but still :bleh:
