Late word tonight that Dick Trickle, long believed to be the winningest driver in racing history, suffered a heart attack.

Here's to hoping he has a speedy recovery.

Long ago, I used to chat with a guy who raced with Trickle years ago. He told me some stories that were great. Wish I could have seen him race way back then. Hope he recovers quickly.

Kenny Wallace supposedly talked to Dick last night and said the heart attack rumors are not true. Could be another one of those "Sinbad is dead" legends. Maybe it will get mentioned on Fox tonight.
 
Somebody should forward a copy of this thread to Dick. He would get a heck of a laugh out of it.
 
Dick is probably out bar-hoppin on his snowmobile in N. Wi enjoying a few BARLEY POPS...........
